The fam and I are headed on vacation to Haiti in a few days — one final hurrah before the back-to-school mayhem ensues!
We all know, flying can be, well, somewhat trying, to put it politely, especially if, like me, you’re flying with four kids who have a hard time spending five minutes in a confined space together without tearing each other’s heads off, never mind four and a half hours!!!
But, there are ways to improve your flying experience (start by leaving the kids at home, ha).
My favourite, and one of the most important, is being comfortable — but flying in comfort doesn’t mean you have to sacrifice style!
In fact, I found so many cute pieces to fly in at Penningtons, that I’m having a hard time deciding what to wear on my flight!
So, here are three Penningtons looks that I’ve put together as potential candidates, and because you lovelies did such a fantastic job choosing my outfit for me the last time I asked, I’m gonna leave the final decision of what I’ll wear to the airport up to you!!!
Look #1 is super cute, kind of sporty, and ultra comfy!
This soft, flowy tee and activewear capris look adorable and feel great! Perfect for breaking up arguments at 30,000ft. and enjoying an in flight movie!
Look #2 is light and breezy, combining linen shorts and soft jersey.
The beading and chiffon detail definitely turn up the style factor, and the stripes add a classic nautical touch! As long as none of my kids barf on me, I’ll be looking gorgeous all the way to the Caribbean!
And finally look #3 is minimalist and über chic, and also scores major points for comfort!
It’s lightweight and airy on top, stretchy and cool on the bottom, and it’s elegant silhouette is just the ticket for enjoying a mile high cocktail and forgetting that I’m actually flying with four laughing hyenas disguised as human children!

I think the purple outfit looks amazing on you. The color is perfect for your color of skin it brings out your eyes you look gorgeous!
I pick #2. It is light airy and ready to go. Comfortable and stylish at the same time.
#3…for sure!
I love no #3, a little stylish upscale look for flying as you never know who you may meet!!
#1, because not only is it stylish, but it is travel friendly…you never know when or where you may sit, rub up against, or come in contact with someone else’s accidents or mistakes…like spilled coffee…water…etc. and black is much more forgiving than the white. You are more sure to arrive looking stylish in the black even if you have had one of these mishaps.
Love love love #1!
I vote for look #1. Looks very comfortable and flattering!
I ove #1! Very cute and ove the cours!
I like #1
That’s my boo!! I love the last look!!
#1…..love it! As well as Iwhite on a plane is risky as I have seen way too many spills…lol.
I like number 1 for flying very nice
I prefer # 3 – I believe it looks classy and comfy
#1 love it
Style number one is definitely number one on my list! The pop of colour up top, with an empire waistline elongates this curvy lady. Number two is nice too, but the embellishment at the bottom of the top emphasizes the widest part of the model, her hips! Number three has great capris, but the top makes her look like a box. Unless she wants to be mistaken for luggage, steer clear of #3.
