Akira Armstrong,
former Beyoncé backup dancer, founder of Pretty BIG Movement and the star of our latest denim campaign is coming to Toronto to teach us how it’s done!

We’ve partnered with Unity Charity for this event. Their mission is to improve young people’s lives and to create healthier communities through the use of hip-hop art forms. This fall, Penningtons will donate $5,000 to fund one season of Unity’s community dance drop-in program, and an additional $10 per flash mob participant to help fund a 2nd season. The program is inclusive, celebrates diversity and stresses the commonality of individuals through shared experience; to help teach participants how to locate their own voices, build confidence and situate their own narrative within a broader context.
Help us reach our donation goal!
