Many seasoned gardeners have described gardening as therapeutic. It has been shown that gardening reduces stress and improves mental health. Did you know that it also counts as moderate-intensity exercise? It also promotes wellness and has significant health benefits. Growing your own fruits and veggies, for example, helps you control what you are consuming and reduces your exposure to pesticides.

What to grow
If you don’t have a garden, for your first attempt, start off with some potted veggies. Once you feel more confident you can maybe build a small garden. Don’t get discouraged, gardening like everything else is a learning process. But here are a few easy potted veggies to start with.
