We’re so excited to see what Adele wears to the Grammys next week! Not only is she a woman we admire, but we also love the variety of award show looks she puts together. While we’re still not 100% sure Adele will show (even though she is nominated), we do know that if she does, she’ll be wearing something AMAZING!

This Barbara Tfank dress and coat were picked for Adele by none other than fashion legend Anna Wintour for her Grammy debut. While elegant LBDs are a standard for Adele, the bright green satin is a nice foray into colour. We would love to see Adele in more vibrant outfits!
2012: Adele Dominates the Grammy Awards

For the red carpet, she wore a black, beaded, Armani Privé dress. This floor length, long-sleeved gown is right in Adele’s wheelhouse. Opting for a shorter ‘do and statement earrings is a great look for women who want to draw the eye upward and keep attention on the face. Adele’s classic but creative style proves that black doesn’t have to be basic or boring.

A black, mid-length Clements Riberio was an elegant choice for Adele’s performance of “Rolling in The Deep”. Not only did she opt to show a little leg, but the sheer neckline with polka-dot detailing was an unexpected and playfully sexy choice for the superstar singer.

Adele’s choice for her post-Grammy’s press conference was a beautiful boat-necked navy Burberry dress. While quite similar in style to the dress she wore on the red carpet, the navy gown paired perfectly with all those golden Grammys!

This famous red Valentino was a bold departure for Adele from her typical award-show wear. After years of simple designs in dark colours she tried a bold pattern in shades of red and pink.While not everyone thought the dress was a win, we love that she took a chance on something fun and think that she looks pretty fabulous in it!

Shame about the rest of us. Shame on Pennington’s. I have relied on your store a very long time to be a safe place to purchase clothing and not be told my body is too ugly to pay attention to. Truly, shame on you for this nasty rhetoric we have heard from bullies all our lives.
Sorry to hear that this article made you feel like we were making a negative statement about “ignoring” plus-size bodies, something that is the polar opposite of the objective of this piece, which is meant to celebrate curvy women we admire. We were merely pointing out that one styling option, like the one Adele is sporting, accentuates the face in a really beautiful way. We think her body, like all women’s bodies both plus-size and non are beautiful and deserve to be celebrated. We are sorry that you didn’t see the piece in that light.
